Rain Secures $250M Series C at $1.95B Valuation to Expand Stablecoin Payments Infrastructure
Rain, the enterprise-grade infrastructure provider for stablecoin-powered payments, has raised $250 million in a Series C round led by ICONIQ Capital. The funding values the company at $1.95 billion—a 17x increase from its Series A valuation just 10 months prior—and brings total capital raised to $338 million.
The round saw participation from Sapphire Ventures, Dragonfly, Bessemer Venture Partners, and other notable investors. Rain plans to deploy the capital toward global expansion, platform enhancements, and new product development aimed at mainstreaming stablecoins for business payments and consumer financial services.
Stablecoins are transitioning from speculative crypto assets to foundational infrastructure for global value transfer. Rain’s technology bridges legacy systems with onchain rails, allowing enterprises to adopt tokenized money without disrupting existing user experiences.
"Stablecoins are becoming the default rails for 21st-century money movement," the company stated, positioning itself as the infrastructure LAYER for this shift. The funding underscores institutional confidence in stablecoins’ role in reshaping global payments.
